Videos

Into Great Silence DVD. Directed by Philip Gröning. The Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse monastery permit us a glimpse into their lives of silence and Spirit. This video is a long meditation on silence. The monks teach us silence by the example of how they live. The video opens us to that silence, allowing us, for its duration, to participate in the spiritual life of this beautiful monastery in mountains of France. The effects of watching this video reverberate into our own life for days afterwards, as sounds remind us of the sacred silence. (video 2005, DVD released 2007, 162 minutes)
